Its time once again to honor survivors with a luxurious day of pampering! Women and children who are currently living in domestic violence shelters will receive a day of pampering at Burke UMC. They will receive manicures, pedicures; massage therapy; facials; make-up application; wardrobe help; health and nutrition advice. We are expecting a record number of women and children with clients coming from Doorways, Bethany House, Fairfax County Department of Family Services, Ayuda, Artemis House and of course, Duffy survivors. Children will have the opportunity to participate in child play therapy and awesome interactive games.
Childcare and a spa lunch will be provided.
If you are interested in volunteering your services in any of the above areas of pampering, or you would like to assist with helping survivors navigate the day, childcare, or transportation, please contact Christine Eads.
